THE WORST FLOODING IN MONTHS, CAN’T EXIT LOWTHER CLOSE, PATHWAYS BLOCKED FOR 5m, DEEP WATER Reported anonymously at 09:17, Tue 15 October 2019 Lowther Close always floods after a couple of hours of heavy rain. This morning the road is impassable. Noticeably worse than usual despite not that much rain in the night. Causing chaos and danger to pedestrians and drivers during school run this morning with traffic, run-off from the main road collecting quickly at the bottom of Lowther Close. Residents will not be able to leave the road on foot til it subsides, particularly the elderly - the middle of the flooding is about a foot deep. Every time it rains for a couple of hours we get these issues, but this is the worst for a few weeks now.
