Cars parking on pavement Reported anonymously at 19:41, Tue 9 March 2021 For a while now, cars have been parking irresponsibly on pavements on and around Firs Avenue usually taking up the entire pavement which makes it unsafe for pedestrians especially children and the elderly. Cars are also parking closely to each other in a zig zag like fashion which makes it harder for larger vehicles such as bin lorry’s and mini buses/large vans to manuveur in such tight spaces. This is causing a problem which has been raised numerous times in neighbourhood forums and next door Uppingham. I personally have witnessed the struggles these vehicles have with this. Could the council please do something about this? Whether it’s from making people more aware to double yellow lines. Thank You
