Overgrown vegetation obstructing footpath Reported anonymously at 11:37, Fri 4 June 2021 The vegetation on the verge has been left to grow, which is fine, but the footpath along the A47 from Glaston to Glaston Road toward Uppingham is becoming impassable. Due to the impinging vegetation, especially stinging nettles, it is likely that pedestrians will need to walk on the road itself - being the A47 this would clearly be very dangerous. Mowing either side of the pavement would be sufficient to resolve this problem without spoiling the wildlife habitat on the rest of the verge.
