It was reported back to me by e-mail that someone had been to look at the pig wire on the dam and were going to report it to the farmer. It is still laying across the dam, but with heavy rain could dislodge and be a danger to the cattle that drink from the river.

It was going to be mentioned to the Farmer Mr. Northern. I think it is probably the responsibility of Welland Valley Water authority. It is still laying on the dam.

Pretty useless !!!! One of the neighbours from Thorpe by Water has managed to remove the pig wire and it is left at the side if the river.
