Dead or dying tree posing a hazard

Reported in the Trees or Vegetation category anonymously at 10:08, Friday 14 September 2018

Sent to Rutland County Council 2 minutes later

We are concerned that the tree in the garden of 54 Main Street is unsafe. A substantial chunk of the tree has fallen into our garden, which could have resulted in serious injury had anyone been working in the bed when it fell. We suspect that the tree is rotten and dying and that more of it will come down. As a significant part of it overhangs the main road through the village, we are concerned for the safety of passing traffic and pedestrians.
