Cracked Pavement outside 15 Coniston Road and terrible quality repair after severn trent dug up the pavement. Picstures show bad repair not cracks.
Reported in the Footway or Footpath category anonymously at 16:03, Thu 17 January 2019
Sent to Rutland County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1516075.
Severn Trent came to dig up the road in numerous places. Whilst doing so their lorries have caused damage to the pavement area. Large cracks in the concrete pavement are evident across the pavement in the areas where they left the vehicles parked. Also when they came to reinstate the holes they have dug - We as residents do not feel they have made a very good job of the Pavement surface. It is not matched to what is currently there. The surface is not level and flat either.
Basically I have reported this to Severn Trent water and they tell me this is something that needs to be reported to the Council.

Severn Trent have re attended and done a much better job thanks to the council making them re do the Pavement. However they have now left the area covered in Concrete again all over the road and Curb stones outside numbers 15 and 16 Coniston. Is there any chance the team who attended to jet wash the pavement for us the first time can re attend and clear up this mess! I have tried but my jet wash will not remove the thick cement left over and it needs an industrial cleaner to remove the debris? Many thanks

Hello - the problem is the condition of the Road that has been covered in concrete after this repair. One of your staff arranged for severn trent to re do the pavement and arranged a jet wash of the road way to remove the over spill of the concrete. It is the road not the pavement that now needs a deep clean.
