STAMFORD ROAD sign damaged and obscured

Reported in the Road Signage category by Robert Bainbridge at 11:46, Wednesday 6 February 2019

Sent to Rutland County Council 4 minutes later

At a recent Parish Council meeting a member of the public observed the road sign opposite Pickworth Road on the A6121was obscured by vegetation. A follow up by council members located the problem and started clearing the vegetation. However the sign was found to be in a poor state of repair and the amount of vegetation to be cleared too much for self help. The question was also raised as to where was the sign to indicate that BOURNE ROAD started on the other side of the Railway Bridge.
