Building contractors creating mud nuisance

Reported in the Roads and Highways category by dean taylor at 09:09, Thursday 7 February 2019

Sent to Rutland County Council 1 minute later

The building works at Whissendine cottage (Planning ref 2018/0212/RES) are generating a massive volume of mud on the pavement and road. Children are having to walk through this mud to wait for the school bus. Elderly residents use this pavement to access the village shop. The condition of hte pavement and road is completely unacceptable and the building contractors need to be held account and have a cleaning strategy in place and enforced. I cannot understand why this did not feature in the Highways comments on the planning application or the final Planning decision notice .
