Drains incompetent resulting in flooding of our property.

This issue has existed for the 20 years we have lived here. We have reported this issue several times in the past.
There is a drop in level on Main Street, Market Overton running north from the village green down to our property. The other side of the road is higher. Also, our driveway access from the road and the path outside our property clearly sit significantly lower than the surrounding area. When it rains, water flows down the road from the village green towards our property. The drains quickly become unable to cope with the flow and block with debris. As a result to drain immediately outside our double gates takes the whole force of the water and also cannot cope so the water floods under our wooden double gates. These were replaced around 10 years ago but are now rotten at the base due to continual flooding, like their predecessors. We have drawn the council's attention to this in previous communications. The drainage has been surveyed several times in the past. The drain running south towards Thistleton Road has been found not only to have insufficient fall, but to run uphill, which is compounding the problem.
