Footpath obstructed

Reported in the Missed Grass Cutting category anonymously at 09:54, Wednesday 19 June 2019

Sent to Rutland County Council 2 minutes later

A lack of grass cutting and hedge cutting has left the stretch of pathway along the A47 overgrown and obstructed between Baulk Road and Glaston. This problem is also restricting the view from my drive pulling out on to the A47 so is also a hazard to me and other road users.

  • I try and use the footpath daily between Granby Lodge Farm & Glaston. the grass was cut right next to the road but not the footpath at all. I walked my children on Saturday PM both both whom suffered nettle stings. It is totally unsafe to walk on the road for an adult let alone children. Whilst using the path personally, despite my best endeavours I have been stung every morning this week
