Hedge to 4 Station Road bulging over path and reducing width so a pushchair cannot pass, brambles growing through at face-height of a toddler.
Reported in the Footway or Footpath category by WPC Parish Clerk, Sue Lammin at 11:06, Friday 6 September 2019
Sent to Rutland County Council 4 minutes later
Old hedge at 4 Station Road bulging and encroaching on width of path leaving insufficient width for a pushchair/pram to pass. Brambles growing through are at face-height for a toddler. Owner does instruct contractors but the resulting trims are too light to be effective. The hedge needs pinning back at the bulge and trimming to the boundary-line.

This work to cut the hedge back on Station Road has now been complete. Note that the location for this was marked incorrectly on Stapleford Road. Another hedge encroachment issue on Stapleford Road has also been reported. This is a privately owned hedge so RCC Highways have written to the landowner instructing that this be remedied.
