Loose chippings damaging my car
Reported in the Roads and Highways category anonymously at 20:47, Friday 13 September 2019
Sent to Rutland County Council 6 days, 19 hours, 53 minutes later
Loose chippings to road surface left/not swept up following re-dressing along the A6121 running from Morcott through to Ketton. I live on the A6121 in South Luffenham and have found the continual flicking up of gravel ruining the paint work on both my wife's and my own car. Also the chippings are continuously flung onto footpath, verges (blunting my lawnmower) and drive entrance. AM now frustrated with damage to vehicles and continual sweeping of the drive entry and path outside our house to say nothing of the fact that the stones are now mixing in with the limestone dressing on our driveway. How do we claim for damage please? And when is the soonest you can arrange to thoroughly sweep the road including the first few meters of side roads when there are large accumulations of stones?
