Reported in the Gully or Manhole category anonymously at 13:21, Wed 25 September 2019
Sent to Rutland County Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1780633.
Please can you unblock two drains which are blocked & over flowing - the stream is now full & will flood in the next big downpour. The two drains are in Cow Lane, Whissendine. As you go down from the top end to the so called pull in next to the entrance to the banks. The two drains are on the right hand side of the road immediately after the pull in.

I saw the wagon cleaning the sides of Cow Lane & I stood & watched to see if they would clean the two drains & they did not. Yes, we did get a flood in the other week when we had the heavy rain.

Still open, via questionnaire -
You should have unblocked the drains as I said weeks ago, this would not have happened otherwise. Believe from sounds last night that pumping was going on. BUT YOU NEED TO GET INVOLVED WITH RIVER/WATER AUTHORITIES AS STREAMS/RIVERS ARE TOTALLY BLOCK WITH WEEDS ETC & THERE IS NO ROOM FOR THE WATER TO FLOW.
