Storm drain sunken and frequently blocked, also road surface in urgent need of repair for pot holes, caused by cars parking on the opposite side of the road, and vehicles passing eroding the bank and compromising the integrity of the road..

This problem is ongoing, but the road surface is currently so bad vehicles are dropping into pot holes, and larger vehicles appear in danger of tipping into the stream. This is towards the end of Church Lane, between Greetham House gates and Jacobs well..

Thank you for your report. We have now inspected the condition of the storm drain and no planned repair is necessary at this stage. Please be assured that we will continue to inspect in line with our Highway Safety Inspection Policy. With respect to the storm drain being blocked; the repair of this defect has already been included on our programme of works for this financial year. In relation to the road surface; the Inspector for this area will revert back to you in due course, once an inspection of the same has taken place.
