Response from RCC following status being changed to fixed:
“ The FixMyStreet response was based on the storm drains being cleansed in September 2019. However, we note that a further enquiry was submitted by you after the drains were cleansed and so unfortunately, it would appear that the cleansing works did not remedy the flooding. Therefore, we will need to investigate the drainage in this area. At this time regrettably, we are unable to financially support the required investigative works for this area from this year’s budget, and the investigation will start in the new financial year.”
The only conclusion I can make is that RCC are going to allow this flooding to occur until the next financial year.
Absolutely unacceptable!
Status changed by myself as this issue is not fixed...
