Inconsiderate roadworks

Reported in the Roads and Highways category anonymously at 16:59, Thu 12 December 2019

Sent to Rutland County Council 1 minute later

Empingham road leading to Ketton road has been having works done for some time whilst a new roadway for Hanson is under construction ... the road is getting to be very dangerous as there is mud all over the road where the have coned off over half of what is a very narrow corner as it is ..leading to having to drive into the deeply potholed verge churning up even more mud and risking damage to vehicles or leading to an accident the construction team also leave their large vans parked on Ketton road near the junction of empingham road which leaves little room to try to squeeze past safely Often having to drive onto the verge and during the wet weather it is not really safe to do so.
