Drain mostly blocked - draining very slowly
Reported in the Gully or Manhole category by Phil Grimley (clerk to Preston Village) at 15:02, Fri 20 December 2019
Sent to Rutland County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1898912.
Manhole at junction of Ridlington Road and A6003 is almost completely blocked. First photo shows location of manhole in 'normal' conditions. Second photo shows drain after rain - this does eventually drain away, but takes 12 - 24 hours after the rain stops, and until then there's a huge puddle which traffic spray everywhere.

Thank you for your report. We have had a large number of drainage issues this financial year and have now had to prioritise works on main carriageways with high speed, and areas where properties are flooding. Therefore at this time, we are unable to financially support potential required works to resolve this issue, from this year’s budget. Please be assured that this problem hasn’t been overlooked or ignored and whilst this report will now be closed, the monitoring of the issue will continue.
