Just thought I would send a couple of photos to you of the road drain on the A6121 opposite the High Street junction.
It is totally blocked and has been for ages and so whenever there is any amount of rainfall creates a larges puddle which often nearly reaches the central whitelining.
Do you think the MPC could ask Highways to look at relieving the blockage somehow please as it is dangerous in very wet weather?
There is also a street light on the verge just along from the drain which is now so overgrown by the nearest tree it is pretty well ineffective.
Thank you for your report. We will investigate this and respond to you within 10 working days. Updates will be posted on https://rutland.fixmystreet.com/ IMPORTANT: To report anything dangerous, please call us on: 01572 722577
