It is not possible to operate the hand gate on horseback to exit/enter green lane. The post is twisted which does not allow the handle to work the gate catch.

It is not possible to operate the hand gate on horseback to exit/enter green lane. The post is twisted which does not allow the handle to work the gate catch. Due to Covid-19 there has been a huge increase in the use of the lane which has potentially contributed to this problem. As this is the only bridle track in the vicinity and the roads are becoming ever increasing dangerous to ride on it would be appreciated if this would be investigated and remedial action taken.
