Large quantity of ragwort on both sides of Oakham to Whitwell roadside, most on the northern verge

Reported in the Trees or Vegetation category anonymously at 20:52, Tuesday 4 August 2020

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later

Ragwort is one of 5 injurious weeds that should be controlled under the Injurious Weeds Act 1959 but has been allowed to flower and spread on many roadside verges. It is currently in flower from Oakham to Whitwell (and probably beyond) and should be pulled by its roots to prevent spread.
