Road not draining outside The Cottage TollBar
Reported in the Roads and Highways category anonymously at 18:14, Tue 18 August 2020
Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2252246.
There is a problem with the road flooding and draining, as you will see from the photos water is not draining into the grate, in addition the photos show where passing vehicles are drenching one of the gates and posts constantly. This is causing discolouration and will lead to rot. In addition it is also washing ‘gutter’ water over the drive. This is in addition to us having to be very wary when opening or closing the gates or working in the garden in that area as passing vehicles cause the water to spray over our property especially at the speeds they go past.

Is there any update to the above query? I have yet again been soaked when opening my gates by a passing vehicle.
