Chicane by Village Shop has acute angled keeping and is causing damage to cars.
Reported in the Kerbs category anonymously at 20:31, Thu 3 September 2020
Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2277427.
The traffic flow through the chicane is deemed by some people to be counter intuitive. From time to time cbecause if the counter intuitive nature of the chicane both traffic flows attempt to go through the chicane simultaneously. This happened On 11th August causing a car to hit the kerb to take avoiding action and due to the acuteness of the kerb both wheels were damaged and needed replacing. Greetham Parish Council would request that the kerb is either dropped or the radius smoothed or sloped kerbing installed.
