Path width outside Exeter Arms

Reported in the Footway or Footpath category anonymously at 15:04, Wednesday 30 September 2020

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later

The path outside of the Exeter Arms is extremely narrow for safe passage on school runs. Now that Uppingham School have understandably closed off to the the public their paths, it makes it more obvious the dangers of the narrow path. I would imagine Uppingham School could also agree on path safeness with themselves upgrading path safety for there pupils in several parts of the town.

The tightness along with the junctions around that area make using the path a extremely dangerous for users of more than one. For parents especially that have more than one child, using that path is mostly a scary procedure.

Please can you look into somehow widening or making the area safer as a matter of emergency.
