15m length of trench left untarmaced

A trench in Main Street has been tarmaced over with the exception of a 15m section outside 87 and 89. The tarmacers have been 3 times but on no occassion have they attempted to complete this section. We have been driving vehicles over the back filled trench for ca. 3weeks and would like to know when the work will be completed as the current state could result in damage to vehicles if not rectified.

Thank you for your report. We have now inspected the defect and no planned repair is necessary at this stage. Please be assured that we will continue to inspect in line with our Highway Safety Inspection Policy. Thank you for reporting this matter and this report is now closed.
