Footway slurry micro surfacing
Reported via desktop in the Footway or Footpath category anonymously at 10:46, Fri 19 February 2021
Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2556826.
This process was carried out on Wednesday morning with no warning - such that I left home at 10.15 to go to the co-op with no sign of any work and on return had to move a bollard to enter the property (41) - which is dangerous right near the bend, and drove over wet tar. The workmen said all houses had been notified. Wrong. I discovered a general leaflet about the process screwed up in my letterbox, but no date for when anything would happen, and without being told it was there could have missed it for days. This is unnecessary. The council could have given notice. I don't think the work was particularly good either.
