Flooded foot path

Reported via mobile in the Footway or Footpath category anonymously at 12:50, Thursday 29 April 2021

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later

The footpath on the A6003 Burnley Park Way, southern bypass, 100 yards south of the Spitefire Garden, is flooded leaving the stretch of pathway wet slimy and in a dangerous condition for cyclists and walkers. This flooding has been happening all winter. Last summer Severn Trent Water repaired 2 substantial leaks in that area but the latest leak appeared several weeks after their last repair job. I have contacted Severn Trent in the past couple of months with no success. As this footpath is your responsibility, I presume, perhaps you could bring some pressure on the water company to sort out the leak and mess.
