Lethal crossing for cyclists

Reported via desktop in the Trees or Vegetation category anonymously at 14:32, Tuesday 18 May 2021

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later

The pedestrian / cycle crossing of Oakham Road immediately south of its junction with Stamford Road is so overgrown that it is unsafe to cross. Cars entering Oakham Road from the westbound A606 Stamford Road cannot be seen before you have to step out into the road, and pedestrians / cyclists cannot see approaching cars turning into Oakham Road from the A606 to the east. This situation has been unaddressed for many months, to my knowledge.
