Whole link road to Greetham

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later

This road is not fit for purpose - verges have some bad potholes - it has wrong camber, is too narrow to safely cycle or vans to pass without one dropping into a potholed verge, no white lines or markings. It is main route to the A1 from Exton area. the potholes need fixing but more importantly this stretch needs relaying, widening to give a cycle path to join with other cycle paths - why can't we cycle to Greetham.. only to Cottesmore? THere is plenty of space the road is not fit for purpose. In Winter the camber and being in shade due to the hedges it is very hazardous, black ice remains etc. More traffic is using this now frome the lake via Greetham to the A1.. it needs investment and we need a cycle lane link to join outside Hambleton Bakery to go on to Greetham. There are currently only footpaths on private land to Greetham - these are all marked no cycling!
