Stile overdue for replacement since 2019/2020

This stile was SUPPOSED to be replaced when RCC replaced several stiles with metal kissing gates on the RUTLAND ROUND FOOTPATH RIGHT OF WAY. The landowner at Grange Farm Cottage has been complaining for over a year that this work was INCOMPLETE ie NOT as promised by RCC when they replaced the bridge at huge cost. This stile needs replacing immediately as dog walkers have made a hole in the sheep wire so that dogs can get through - THE RIGHT OF WAY for walkers and dogs under owner control ie on a LEAD - which means a proper stile is essential- BUT this means the landowner was unable to put lambs in the field. the landowner is also waiting over a YEAR for RCC to FINISH the fencing adjacent to the new bridge & put in hardcore to make the RIGHT OF WAY FOOTPATH passable as it is flooded even NOW in July. RCC needs to FINISH WHAT IT STARTED & stop wasting money doing things badly. NB the landowner claims that they know who the man damaging the wire is but when advised to report this to the police seemed reluctant as they had already been subjected to abuse from this person & other persons since they purchased the field.

  • Landowners receiving abuse & claim they can't put lambs in this pasture field due to RCC failing to replace stile. Who is the landowner of the field planted with a crop that the RUTLAND ROUND continues into B UT THERE IS NO SIGNPOST FOR IT? Walkers are making NEW FOOTPATHS due to tlack of way markers.
