Hedges, overhang including nettles and thorny branches

Reported via desktop in the Overhanging tree, hedge or shrub category anonymously at 21:28, Monday 26 July 2021

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later

For a couple of months the pavement is becoming more difficult to use including being harmed with nettles and thorny branches. A single person can walk along the pavement with care but someone in a wheelchair or pushing a pram would have difficulty. There is not a pavement on the other side off the road therefore certainly dangerous for a disabled person. Pleas can this be cut back asap, my understanding is that as it is on the main road it is the responsibility of RCC and not the Parish Council.

  • Created this 26th July, now 5th October and still no reply other than an automated response saying "We will investigate this and respond to you within 10 working days". Noe response and certainly no action, even harder to get past without being hurt with the brambles etc. This website is a waste of tax payers money.
