Worn and damaged road.

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2932442.
I reported issues with Wing Road in Manton and had a response saying repairs would be added to the schedule of works. Some yellow indicating paint has been added to various potholes at the top of the road with the junction of Lyndon Road. However, this does not address the issues further down the road at least down to Broccoli Bottom. As I noted in my original report, the road is bare, the bitumen is showing through and sticks to tyres, footwear, and so on and is in addition, a hazard to the numerous horses which use the road. There are also other potholes which are present which do not seem to have been looked at or earmarked for repair. I have taken a number of images to try and highlight the problem but there seems to be a limit as to the number that can be uploaded. It would not be sufficient just to address the potholes at the top of the road (the junction with Lyndon Road) as extremely large haulage vehicles use this road as access to the industrial estate at Station Yard. The road was clearly not built to handle the size of vehicle regulalry using this stretch of road. the potholes further down the road (outside number 12 and Cedar Cottage) are a hazard to horse riders and to cyclists. Yesterday, a cyclist nearly came off their bike when freewheeling down the hill at speed and hit a pothole outside number 12. Horses regulalry slip on the bald road and the road is a danger to both horse and rider.

I reported this issue on 12th August and received the standard reply that it would be investigated in ten days - it is now October 9th and there has been no further response or reply. What is happening to address the problems reported and to avoid potential accidents and danger to pedestrians and cyclists?
