12" Pot Hole
Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 08:32, Thu 19 August 2021
Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2944829.
I reported a problem with the verge being damaged / eroded many months ago and believe it may have been investigated pre covid. However, due to heavy vehicles accessing Chapel Lane via this small road, the verge has been eroded significantly and there is now a large pot hole in the same area. It would be great if the road could be repaired to prevent damage and eliminate risks to pedestrians and cyclists, but with the erosion of the verge, perhaps the road requires widening slightly (increased area of tarmac) or bollards to deter heavy vehiles mounting the verge / village green.
