Access and Egress from Pond Lane, Greetham

Reported via desktop in the Damaged Traffic Calming Feature category by Graham McKee at 07:53, Tue 7 September 2021

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later

Mr Andrew Tatt - Highways Peter Hinch has written to you and I have tried to phone you asking for a return phone call because your reception is instructed not to give out your phone number and they tell me that you are working from home. I realise that your responsibility is very large but please could you take the time to phone me? I actually gave the phone number to your reception and expressly said that it was regarding Pond Lane. My mobile is 07930 977205

  • Thanks so much Andrew. As you will know, a simple white line bordering the recessed area next to the village green along with No Parking signage would suffice but you may wish to consider white marking bordering the whole area saying 'no parking, emergency vehicles only. Kind regards Graham McKee

  • The access and egress to Pond lane is still a problem. There have been two vehicular near misses on 26th October 2021 ref. 261021258 and 261021527. An update from Highways at the earliest convenience would be appreciated as this is a long standing problem and needs resolution.
