Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later

These potholes have been here for over 12 months. The largest hole is approx. Two and a half feet wide and over four inches deep. These were reported last December

  • These potholes are getting dangerously larger and deeper. I cannot understand how they have not been repaired for this length of time!

  • This enquiry has been closed because it’s been determined that it relates to an un-adopted road. Un-adopted roads do not have to be maintained by the Highway Authority (Rutland County Council) under the Highways Act 1980. A legal duty to maintain these roads still exists, but it falls to the owners of the road to do so. In order to determine whether a road is adopted you can refer to the National Street Gazetteer website map
