Footpath grassing up and asphalt degrading / disappearing - Wheelchair getting stuck in mud grass

Reported via desktop in the Cracked or Damaged Road Surface category anonymously at 19:38, Friday 12 November 2021

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later

Asphalt needs clearing of grass and new asphalt to be put down to reinstate the pavement width. I am unable to use my electric wheelchair to get around my village.

Updates

  • The path needs to be wide enough for my wheelchair wheels to run smoothly on the asphalt (which is currently covered over by grass and has started to break up) The alternative is a 60 meter length of road on a double blind bend with a double height kerb. Thank you for your help.
