There is a manhole in the road and the surface around it has become a pothole now. The road is also sinking slightly where the pothole is, there is a problem outside no10, no 8 and just a little bit further goinf towards Uppingham. Subsequently whenever a lorry (which is numerous times a day and night) goes over it, it creates a loud booming sound like a metal drum being hit by a large piece of metal. The numerous amount of HGV's and road maintenance lorries, along with Tarmac, Ashfelt and other huge lorries use the A6003 constantly and the noise levels are getting so high it is affecting our day to day living and sleep at night. There are more than one subsiding manholes along this stretch which all make a loud booming sound when lorries travel over them. We would be so grateful if the roadway can be made even to stop the awful noise we have to endure every day, all day and through the night.

Thank you.
