Conservation area!

Reported via mobile in the Road markings category anonymously at 19:46, Thu 25 November 2021

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later

I am horrified to see two SLOW traffic markings outside my house! It’s ruined the village and what we believe in to be a protected historical jewel in Rutland’s crown! Lyddington prides itself as a grade two listed, heritage, conservation village! The road markings are totally out of context to use in this village. Traffic in general does need to be reminded of speed levels to respect the residents however this type of road marking should be located at both ends before the village! It’s out of context to graffiti the road in such a way. This has huge effect on my cottage appearance and others. I strongly disapprove and would like to meet your senior highways manager on site at their nearest convenience.
