Railway “level” crossing over Brook Road still severely uneven
Reported via desktop in the Cracked or Damaged Road Surface category anonymously at 10:22, Wed 1 December 2021
Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3152966.
Network Rail adjusted or maintained the level crossing months ago but left the north side of the crossing in a very uneven state, unlike it was before the work when it was about as level as most such crossings are. Why have they just had bumpy road temporary signs only put up and still not rectified their maintenance mistake?

Could I ask for an update please? This was raised several months ago and Network Rail still have not resolved the problem (created when they rearranged the slabs in between the rails).

Can I ask Officers to engage with Network Rail directly on this again please? The work still hasn’t been completed and the crossing remains like a roller coaster.
