Reported this twice already months ago. Outside 11 knossington rd, Braunston. Completely blocked as is the one opposite outside Snowdrop Cottage. Also there are others in the village blocked. The other day during heavy rain, water was cascading down knossington rd like a river. For the umpteenth time of asking will you please get these drains cleared.

  • Thank you for your report. The Highways drainage contractor has recently investigated the blocked gullies and have reported an issue with the drainage pipe within the drainage system which will require further investigation. At this time there are no guarantees as to when the investigation may take place and the issue will need to be assessed with the list of other drainage defects we are carrying forward from this financial year into next. Each year we have to re-evaluate our list of priorities focusing on those issues affecting main A and B roads and programme works accordingly.
