Stamford Road South Luffenham

Reported via desktop in the Trees or Vegetation category anonymously at 15:17, Sat 1 January 2022

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3209014.

Trees and other growth overhanging pavement cause problems. This was reported in July and again in November. This land is the responsibility of highways from pavement back to remains of original stone field boundary. This was confirmed a number of years ago after meetings with the PC and highways. Work has been done in the past but a lot further work needs doing. I can confirm this as a previous Chair of the PC as can the previous Clerk who retired just over a year ago. This needs sorting before someone is damaged by overhanging branches or brambles

  • The problem hasn’t magically disappeared. It is still a hazard that Highways needs to fix.
