Ongoing hedge problems
Reported via iOS in the Trees or Vegetation category anonymously at 11:20, Wed 4 May 2022
Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3500721.
Apparently there is a dispute between RCC and the land owner of this hedge that abuts the ALREADY VERY NARROW FOOTPATH to George Henry wood along the Clipsam road. It has already started to push out especially when walking a dog and meeting another person coming in the opposite direction.
This stretch has been flagged up as dangerous before. I have asked before for confirmation on who’s responsible for its upkeep
Please confirm to Stretton Parish Council your findings on who is responsible and therefore going forward what will be done to keep the footpath safe for use.
( I am not a Councillor).

This issue is getting worse. At the point of crossing the road you are now forced onto the very edge of the pavement just where vehicles are speeding round the corner
