Blocked bridleway - previous report not dealt with

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown category anonymously at 18:56, Saturday 13 August 2022

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later

I have previously reported that the bridleway starting from the layby on the A1 South near the disused quarry was blocked (report ref 3721780). You have updated this to say it is the responsibility of another organisation (presumably National Highways) and have passed this on to them and then closed the report. However, as pointed out, the problem is on both sides of the hedging i.e. the verge AND in the field - which is the responsibility of the landowner. Can you please confirm whether the landowner has also been contacted regarding the issue in the field - there is currently a very narrow pathway that has been created by a third party, but it needs clearing to bridleway specifications
