Recent utilities work damage

Reported via iOS in the Obstruction category by Ian Razzell at 15:05, Sunday 21 August 2022

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later

Over the past four weeks, new cables have been laid along the path on the West side of Tyne Road. Since then, recovery of the pavement surface has taken place but is extraordinarily poor in its preparation and finish.

Leaving cracks near manhole covers, pitted and raised surface along the length of the repair and a significant bulge in the surface of the path near Glen Drive, the repairs to the pathway following the cable laying are sub-optimal and will be the cause of early costs by the Council if not tackled now.

Residents would be grateful if the area could be inspected and repairs provided by the contractor that leave the path in a similar state to that in which they found it.
