Metal drain covers accross the road broken

Reported via desktop in the Manhole and Drain covers category anonymously at 20:25, Sun 4 September 2022

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3802160.

The metal drain covers across the road at the bottom of Mill Lane, Tinwell are broken and keep lifing up when vehicles drive over them. This is very hazardous to pedestrials, horses, and cars that use the lane. In addition to this the drain floods when there is rain.

  • This issue was reported nearly 2 months ago and it has not been fixed. Some temporary warning signs and a cone were placed at the hazard but due to the location they blocked access for larger vehicles and get moved aside and left everytime. The drain cover(s) have now completely come away leaving a large gap in the rod which is incredibly dangerous for pedestrians and cyclists.
