Reported via desktop in the Manhole & Drain Covers category anonymously at 15:05, Monday 3 October 2022
Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later
Due to the high level of heavy traffic from the quarry along side tractors the tarmac around the drain cover is constantly sinking leaving metal corners of the drain sticking out. This is reported each time and tarmac replaced and the same thing happens. Permanent fix is needed. Need to pass safely on opposite side of road to avoid catching tyres. Road also fills with rain water which hides the issue if you are not a regular user of the road.
