Water Leak

Reported via desktop in the Drains/Ditches Blocked category anonymously at 20:15, Tuesday 11 October 2022

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later

It is unclear if this is a result of a blocked drain or ruptured pipe. It may be linked to report reference FMS-RCC-10863 (?), which is in close proximity of this leak. However, water is leaking from an area of the road which appears to have been repaired previously, possibly from a previous leak (?)

  • Water leak has been reported to Severn Trent Water (STW) as it seems to be a water leak. STW attended site today and have confirmed that it is their responsibility and they have raised a work order for repair, reference 13191627

  • I am very concerned that the leak is worsening and the road surface is degenerating further (as seen on the attached images taken today). Understanding the effect of such a severe leak upon our currently depleted water reserves, I believe that the required remedial actions must now become a priority.
