Who do we contact about fixing the lighting on Leicester Road if it's not the council's responsibility? It's been weeks since they stopped working.

Another weeks gone by and still no information on who to contact. Does anyone know or shall I ring you?

Thank you for your enquiry. The council's subcontractor have assessed the lights here but have been unable to rectify the defect due to the nature of the fault. The streetlights at this location are faulty due to an energy supply issue. This has been reported to National Grid who own the cable and are responsible therefore for rectifying the defect. National Grid have now informed RCC that they are due to start repair works between the 14th-16th December when it is anticipated the problem should be resolved. This enquiry will now be closed.
