VERY URGENT A possibility that diversion signs have blown dow as HGVs are now coming through Caldecott even though the road is closed to uppingham and therefore they either have to turn round onthe S bend or they travel through the county lane

Reported via desktop in the Damaged Traffic Calming Feature category anonymously at 08:58, Thursday 17 November 2022

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later

Diverted traffic signs must be displayed to STOP HGVs coming through Caldecott A6003 as the road is closed to Uppingham and lorry drivers are ignoring the signs and coming through. They either take the decision to turn around on the S bend or carry on the small country lane to Lyddington which is too narrow so churning up the grass verges. It is so dangerous. Please make the signs clear that the road is not suitable to come through CALDECOTT.
