Caldecott must be the most dirty neglected untidy village in rutland. We’ve witnessed Oakham and Uppingham being cleaned properly and left looking tidy from fallen leaves. All pavements cleared of overgrown edges. However although previously reported nothing has been done in Caldecott. Piles of leaves are left on the public footpath and make a great toilet for dogs !! The kerbs by the church are a surface with weeds which haven’t been touched for months and months although reported before. Yes we had a vehicle to sweep the gutters a while back but no water was used and vast amount of areas were missed. Some areas of the public footpaths are almost covered by weeds from edges. The footpath from Castle inn to the traffic lights is the worst. Please could somebody take this seriously and clean up Caldecott .
