Surface water
Reported via mobile in the Surface Water on the Highway category anonymously at 08:49, Mon 9 January 2023
Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4103233.
There has been an ongoing problem here which should be simple to rectify. It needs a channel cutting so the water can run down the bank into the river. I’ve reported this before. There are other stretches of the A47 in Rutland where every time it rains we are left with considerable amounts of surface water. This can be cured with basic maintenance like digging out a few channels to allow the water to drain away. Is there a reason why this isn’t on the annual jobs to do list?
